ROUNDUP : Cal Lutheran Romps to Victory

All Cal Lutheran starters scored in double figures as the host Kingsmen coasted to an 84-67 victory over Concordia, Minn., Friday in a nonconference victory.

Derrick Clark paced the Kingsmen (3-0) with 18 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots. Damon Ridley (16 points), Dave Ulloa (12), Paul Tapp (11) and Rupert Sapwell (10) completed a starting lineup that outscored Concordia’s starters, 67-38. Cal Lutheran’s Jason Smith came off the bench to add 10 points.

Kurt Motschenbacher led Concordia (0-2) with 20 points.

Glendale 80, East L.A. 59--Maurice Sowells scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Vaqueros in a nonconference game at East L.A..

Eugene Hatch added 13 points for Glendale (4-1), which took a 15-0 lead and led by as many as 32 points. Mike Macchia came off the bench to score 12 points and take 10 rebounds for the Vaqueros.
