SIMI VALLEY : 3 Held in Break-In at Metrolink Lot
Simi Valley police said they arrested three youths in the city’s Metrolink parking lot on suspicion of vehicular burglary after finding the trio hiding in their parked car.
Police responded about 12:55 p.m. Monday to a call of a possible burglary in progress at the Los Angeles Avenue parking lot and found the three, according to a police statement.
Officers said they found burglary tools and electronic equipment inside the car that the youths, all Simi Valley 16-year-olds, were hiding in.
A search of the lot revealed one vehicle that had been broken into, and another vehicle the group is suspected of trying to burglarize, police said. The youths were arrested and later released with an order to appear before a probation officer.
