CAM Data Systems Inc.: The Fountain Valley producer of point-of-sale and inventory-management systems for retailers reported a profit of $700,000, or 37 cents a share, for its fiscal year ended Sept. 30. That compared to earnings of $510,000, or 33 cents a share, for the previous 12 months. Revenue was up 32% to $11.9 million from $9 million. For the fourth quarter, the company’s profit rose to $217,000, or 11 cents a share, from $60,000, or 4 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Three-month revenue increased 19% to 3.1 million from $2.6 million.
