Leslie Leads USC Over Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. — Lisa Leslie had 21 points and 13 rebounds Friday to lead No. 13 USC past Richmond, 80-59, in the first round of the Central Fidelity Women’s Invitational.
USC (2-0) struggled early, with Richmond (1-1) leading by as many as six points. The Trojans took control and led by 10 points before settling for a six-point halftime lead.
USC will play Maryland, a 75-68 winner over Texas, in today’s final.
