Drive-By Shooting Injures 2 in Placentia
PLACENTIA —
Two young men were in stable condition Saturday after being injured in a drive-by shooting in the 600 block of Kansas Avenue, police said.
Robert Silva, 19, and Placita Sotello, 20, both of Placentia, were standing on the sidewalk when someone in a blue vehicle opened fire about 7 p.m., police said. Silva was struck in the upper shoulder and Sotello was hit in the chest. They were treated at an area hospital.
It was not immediately known if the shooting was gang-related, officials said.
