Pigskin and More
Elizabeth Hansen’s column (“Don’t Touch That Dial,” TV Times, Nov. 14) seemed to imply that it was OK for women to watch football only for the “biceps and the buns” because teams have cheerleaders for men. This would be fair except that TV never shows the cheerleaders for men. I’d love to see some firm thighs, great buns or giant hooters.
But I can’t because men are discriminated against. The NFL and TV networks need to set up affirmative-action workshops to make sure cheerleaders are given their proper exposure.
