NORTH HOLLYWOOD : Food, Toy Drive for Needy Under Way
North Hollywood police and civic leaders are holding a holiday food and toy drive to create holiday baskets for about 200 needy area families.
More than $7,500 has been collected so far by Robertson Honda of North Hollywood in the effort, dubbed “Operation Holiday Basket.”
Donations of new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food are still being accepted through Dec. 18 at the North Hollywood police station at 11480 Tiara St. Distribution of the baskets will begin on Dec. 21.
