Santa Clarita / Antelope Valley : 2 Reappointed to Planning Body
The City Council has reappointed two Palmdale Planning Commission members to the five-member board.
The council, with Teri Jones absent, unanimously agreed Wednesday to have Addison Thompson and Steve Hofbauer continue serving on the commission.
The pair’s two-year terms expired Oct. 1. The City Council, however, extended the terms to allow additional applicants to apply for and be interviewed for the two posts.
At least three non-incumbents asked to be considered.
Thompson originally was appointed in 1989. Hofbauer was appointed in May, 1992, to fill an unexpired term. Both asked to continue serving on the commission.
Their new terms will expire Oct. 1, 1995.
