PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE NFL : Mitchell, Offerdahl Ready for Dolphins
Battered and badly in need of reinforcements, the Miami Dolphins might get two players back in time for Sunday’s AFC East showdown against the Buffalo Bills.
Quarterback Scott Mitchell and middle linebacker John Offerdahl are both expected to start against the Bills. Mitchell had a separated shoulder, Offerdahl a strained hamstring.
Among those who will be sidelined are safety Louis Oliver and cornerback Troy Vincent. Oliver is still hobbled by a foot injury, and Vincent will sit out the rest of the season after injuring his knee Monday night against Pittsburgh.
