Rapper Ice Cube, with “Lethal Injection,” debuted at No. 1 on three of The Times’ Southern California album charts: pop, R&B; and rap. He replaced another local rapper, Snoop Doggy Dogg, as leader of those charts. However, Snoop Dogg still tops the pop singles chart with “What’s My Name.” Harry Connick Jr.’s “When My Heart Finds Christmas” is the hottest of the holiday albums, jumping from No. 18 to No. 7. Country music fans are in a Christmas mood, with two seasonal albums in the Top 10--Vince Gill’s “Let There Peace on Earth” (No. 2) and Garth Brooks’ “Beyond the Season” (No. 8).
