Packard Bell Sees Revenue Growth: Packard Bell Electronics Inc., one of the 10 largest computer makers in the world, said it expects revenue to climb to $1.25 billion for 1993, a 35% leap from 1992’s revenue of $925 million. Based on early forecasts, the closely held Chatsworth-based computer maker also expects 1994 revenue to climb to $2.3 billion, said Philip Little, a spokesman for Packard Bell. “It’s going to be significant growth,” Little said. Packard Bell, which was ranked as the fourth-largest computer vendor by International Data Corp., a Framingham, Mass.-based research firm, expects to ship about 1.1 million units in 1993, compared to 684,000 units shipped in 1992.
