Grey Advertising to Handle Carl’s Jr.: The Los Angeles firm had been an interim agency since October, creating ads that focus on the fast food chain’s products rather than on price. The account is estimated at more than $20 million annually. Anaheim-based Carl Karcher Enterprises declined to comment on whether founder Carl N. Karcher is likely to return as the Carl’s Jr. television pitchman. Karcher, 76, was ousted as chairman on Oct. 1 after a bitter dispute with the board, but has been returned in a limited role as chairman emeritus.
