Value and Convenience

ARISTOCRAT HOTEL 1933 Main St.; (800) 231-4235 Rooms were recently remodeled at this popular spot for working travelers; convenient to offices; free continental breakfast. Full and mini-suites are a good buy at $113 to $130. (172 rooms, 122 suites)

PLAZA OF THE AMERICAS 650 N. Pearl St; (214) 979-9000 A Texas extravaganza, complete with new ice-skating rink in atrium next to lobby. This business hotel is connected to a retail and office complex. Selling points include big bathtubs, helpful concierge and a short walking distance to the arts district. (403 rooms; 36 suites)
