Suspect Arrested in Garage Gun Attack
Police have arrested a 29-year-old Long Beach man suspected of shooting a man in his garage last week after an argument, authorities said Tuesday.
Khedrick G. Blackmon is being held in the Orange County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder, Cypress police said, with bail set at $250,000.
On Dec. 23, police found 22-year-old Archie M. Tupu on the floor of his garage in the 8300 block of Fontainbleau Avenue in Cypress. Tupu had been shot three times and, although conscious, was paralyzed from the waist down. He is in stable condition at UCI Medical Center.
