A 16-year-old rammed a car, which he allegedly stole, into two La Verne police patrol cars and led officers on a 100-m.p.h. chase on the San Bernardino Freeway (10) before his arrest in Baldwin Park after crashing into a parked car, police said.

The chase began Wednesday about 9:40 p.m. after an officer checking out a report of an attempted break-in on a pickup truck spotted the suspects’ Camaro about half a mile away, La Verne police Lt. Paul Allen said.

Officers from La Verne, West Covina, Baldwin Park and the California Highway Patrol followed the car at speeds exceeding 100 m.p.h. until it left the freeway and hit a parked car in Baldwin Park, Allen said.
