WESTMINSTER : Nursing Center Will Hold Lecture Series
Beverly Manor Nursing Center-Westminster will hold the first in a series of monthly lectures on health and health care issues today at Beverly Manor, 240 Hospital Circle.
The one-hour lecture, starting at noon, will deal with preventing falls. It will be conducted by the center’s therapists and nurses.
Admission is free, but reservations are required. To make reservations, call the Community Relations Department at (714) 892-6686.
The Feb. 17 lecture will deal with health care reform and how it will affect people.
On March 24, the topic is nutrition. On April 20, the focus will be on home safety and participants will be shown how to eliminate potential risks in their homes.
A free hearing screening will follow the May 19 lecture on hearing and communications.
