Rockwell Forms China Venture to Make Press Equipment

Rockwell International Corp., the $11-billion diversified technology giant, said Thursday that it has formed a joint venture to produce printing-press equipment in the People’s Republic of China.
Rockwell’s Graphic Systems business in Westmont, Ill., will team up with the Shanghai Printing and Packaging Machinery Corp. in Shanghai. Rockwell, based in Seal Beach, has licensed its printing technology to a subsidiary of the Chinese company since 1984.
