InVitro International: The Irvine-based manufacturer of non-animal-test kits for testing corrosive materials said Monday that Canada’s transportation department approved the firm’s Corrositex, which is used to evaluate potential corrosion to the skin. Canada is the first country outside of the United States to formally approve the use of InVitro’s Corrositex, its newest product, to test products entering its borders. InVitro stock closed at $4.75 on the Nasdaq market, up 50 cents from Monday.
