BO’S SKY: Bo Jackson, the newest member of the California Angels (C1), apparently has found a new hobby. He already has conquered football, winning the Heisman Trophy at Auburn before becoming an All-Pro running back for the Raiders. He has mastered baseball, making the All-Star team in 1989. And now? . . . “I’d still like to be a military pilot,” Jackson confided. “In fact, I’m going to go up with the Blue Angels in three days. I’m going up in that beautiful blue sky. Believe me, that’s living.”

BO’S HOUSE? Jackson already knows how to hit home runs at Anaheim Stadium. It was his first-inning homer at the Big A in the 1989 All-Star game there that made him the game’s most valuable player and elevated his endorsement dollars. That was all before his artificial hip operation, but Jackson exudes confidence: “The ball travels very well in this ballpark. I like that. Whenever I’m in the lineup, I’ll try to make things happen.”

HOME REMINDER: Costa Mesa photographer Pascal Tran, 32, recently took his cameras back to Vietnam, his first return since moving here as a teen-ager. He took 4,000 pictures, which he’s turned into a slide show aimed at other Vietnamese Americans. It will be shown repeatedly during the 12th annual Tet Festival at Golden West College in Huntington Beach this weekend. . . . “Many of us don’t remember Vietnam because we are so young,” Tran says. “I just want to remind them what our country is like.”

FAMILY SUPPORT: Three men accused of killing Amy Biehl of Newport Beach when she was working in South Africa last August saw two unexpected faces at their trial in Cape Town on Monday: Amy’s sister Molly, and her mother, Linda Biehl. . . . The two decided to attend after reading that some witnesses were being intimidated. Says Linda Biehl: “We are Amy’s family, and if it had happened in the U.S., we would have been at the trial. It may help us get through this.”
