Taco Bell said Tuesday it has organized a charitable fund to aid in the education of the children whose parents were killed at one of the chain’s restaurants in Clarksville, Tenn.

The Clarksville Children’s Memorial Fund is accepting donations in care of First American National Bank, P.O. Box 508, Clarksville, Tenn. 37041-0508.

Taco Bell said it would donate $5,000 per child to the fund. The company is also preparing to pay funeral expenses, and it has arranged for counseling for the victims’ families and co-workers.

The four workers slain Sunday were Patricia Mae Price, 28; Angela Wyatt and Kevin Campbell, both 22, and Marsha Klopp, 24. Campbell, the married father of a 2-week-old girl, was expecting a promotion to assistant manager. Klopp, an assistant manager, also was married with three children. Price had five children and had recently moved to Clarksville with her husband.

The four victims were found dead Sunday morning by the restaurant manager arriving to open for business. Two had been shot in the head execution-style, authorities said. The restaurant’s safe was open and cash register drawers were empty.
