Mister Jolie Wins Santa Anita Feature
Mister Jolie rallied from next to last to win the $46,000 feature by two lengths over Cimply A Winner at Santa Anita Wednesday.
Ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye, Mister Jolie went five wide into the home stretch and drew clear. The 4-year-old Florida-bred gelding covered six furlongs in 1:09. He paid $4.20, $3 and $2.40 as the 11-10 favorite in the field of seven.
Prince Wild, the 3-1 second choice, was four lengths back in third.
The victory, worth $25,300, increased Mister Jolie’s career earnings to $91,925, with four victories in nine starts.
