Pacific Scientific Co.: Strong demand for its so-called brushless motors will boost 1993 net income more than 48% to $8 million, the company said Thursday.

The company, which designs, manufactures and markets electrical equipment and aircraft safety equipment, said the expected earnings would amount to $1.50 to $1.52 per share. Net income for 1992 was $5.4 million, or $1 a share. Annual revenue should rise to about $195 million from $172.7 million the previous year.

Official results won’t be released until early next week, a company spokeswoman said.

For the fourth quarter, the company expects net income to rise more than 25% to $2.3 million, or about 40 to 42 cents a share. Net income for 1992’s final quarter was $1.6 million, or 30 cents a share. Quarterly sales are expected to range from $55 million to $57 million, up from $46.2 million in the same quarter a year earlier.
