Philman, who is second in the county in scoring and leads the Chargers in assists, dominated last week’s 64-62 victory over then-seventh-ranked Fountain Valley and a 66-59 victory over then-No. 5 Marina. Against Fountain Valley, she had 36 points, including a school-record 18 in the fourth quarter, and 14 rebounds. She made the game-winning shot with three seconds left. Against Marina, she had 30 points and 14 rebounds. She made 16 of 19 free throws, including 11 of 13 in the fourth quarter.

Other notables:

* Angela Burgess, Woodbridge, averaged 17 points and 18 1/2 rebounds in victories over Newport Harbor and University.

* Sarah Lang, Laguna Hills, had a shutout, her 13th of the season, in a 2-0 victory over Costa Mesa and had six saves in a 1-1 tie with Estancia.

* Rhonda Partida, Sunny Hills, had two goals and four assists in victories over La Habra and Sonora, which clinched a fourth consecutive league title.
