Gish Biomedical Inc.: The Irvine medical products manufacturer posted a profit of $267,400, or 9 cents a share, for its latest quarter, down 44% from earnings of $474,800, or 14 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Sales for the company’s second fiscal quarter, which ended Dec. 31, were unchanged at $5.3 million. Profit for the first half dropped to $530,600, or 17 cents a share, from $919,100, or 28 cents a share, for the period a year earlier. Six-month sales were up slightly to $10.3 million from $10.1 million.
