Pivotal Vote on Wedaa
* The cities of Orange County face a pivotal vote today which will significantly affect the residents and businesses of our area. They will at the League of Cities meeting decide the future of Hank Wedaa, the current chairman of the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
During his six years on the board, Wedaa has spearheaded many critical reforms and has gained the respect and support of many businesses in Orange County.
We have trusted him over the last six years and should continue to do so for his last year on the board--he has decided to retire next year. In December we will find a qualified successor to fill his shoes. Until then, let us join together as a county and back the individual who has successfully represented us in the past.
