Viewers Still Waiting for Some Action on CBS

I am the ultimate Olympics fan, but I don’t think I’ll be watching much more this year. I watched all day Sunday expecting to see some events. All I saw was advertisements for the prime-time show (on which I saw approximately nine minutes of competition in the first hour) and heard the anchors tell who won all the events. Who wants to watch the downhill when you already know Tommy Moe won?
Everyone made fun of NBC’s triplecast, but at least you got to see the competition. ABC, it’s never been the same since you lost it. Jim McKay, where are you when we need you?

In its coverage of the Winter Olympics, I wish I could say that CBS stood for “Continuously Broadcasting Sports.” Instead, it stands for “Continuously Boring Slop.”
