Fluor Gets Contracts for German Plants: The firm said Wednesday it had won two contracts worth $16 million for engineering work to expand chemical and waste-water plants in Germany. Fluor Daniel, the construction subsidiary of Fluor Corp. in Irvine, will do engineering, construction and procurement work for Buna AG’s chemical production plant in Schkopau, near Leipzig, Germany. The work is expected to be completed in 1995. Another German firm, Elf Autochem Deutschland GmbH, also gave Fluor Daniel a contract to modernize a waste treatment plant in Leuna, Germany.
