NATION IN BRIEF : VIRGINIA : Doctors Urge Release of Lorena Bobbitt

Doctors who examined Lorena Bobbitt since her trial for cutting off her husband’s penis recommended that she be released from a mental hospital and receive outpatient treatment, her lawyer said in Richmond, Va. Circuit Judge Herman A. Whisenant Jr. is to decide Monday whether to release Bobbitt.
