The American Professional Soccer League announced expansion into two cities and a new ownership group and team in Toronto Tuesday, bringing APSL membership for the upcoming season to eight.
Seattle (Sounders) and Houston (Force) will be the new league cities. The Toronto Rockets will replace the defunct Toronto Blizzard.
Tampa Bay, which competed in a seven-team league last season, has folded.
