Schraith Joins Board of Irvine’s Pinnacle Micro

* James T. Schraith has joined the board of directors of Pinnacle Micro Inc., an Irvine manufacturer of optical storage systems. He succeeds Charles W. Richion, who resigned due to personal and professional commitments. Schraith is senior vice president of sales and service at AST Research.

* Justine Heinze has been promoted to account executive-exhibitor services at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers. She joined the hotel last year as an administrative assistant for the sales department. Before that, Heinze spent two years in community relations with the California Angels and one year with the Los Angeles Kings.

* Mark J. Schulz will serve on the board of the new binational Environmental Business Committee established to find solutions for Mexico’s environmental issues. He is managing director of Ventana’s North America Environmental Fund in Irvine. The committee, based on the UC San Diego campus, was formed by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Ronald Brown and Mexico’s Secretary of Commerce and Foreign Investment Jamie Serra Puche.

* Gary R. Bechtel has joined LJM Realty Advisors Inc. as a vice president in the Irvine office. He was previously with Pacific Southwest Mortgage, where he was responsible for all aspects of the loan origination and closing process.

* Amy Dunn has been appointed Orange County/Long Beach manager of Lenders Overload, which provides staff for on-call work. Before joining the company, Dunn was with Bank of America and SC Funding.

* Robert Bagby has been appointed president and chief operating officer of General Automation, an Anaheim computer company. He succeeds Leonard Mackenzie, who will retain the position of vice chairman and chief executive.
