Diamond Entertainment Corp., a distributor of videotapes to large retail chains, said Friday that it has agreed to co-market a 26-episode series, “Ted Danson, Challenge of the Seas.”

The series features Danson narrating educational programs with such titles as “Hammerheads of El Bajo,” “The Sea of Whales,” “Seal Country,” “Realm of the White Shark” and “The Whales That Came Back.”

A spokeswoman for Diamond, Kristine Truong, said the series is one of the more high-profile deals the company has made. Potential customers for the series include Montgomery Ward, Walgreen and WalMart, Truong said.
