DANA POINT : Residents to Be Asked About City’s Needs

Share

A survey that will ask residents how they can best be served by City Hall will conducted beginning March 19.

The phone poll will show what residents feel are the city’s most pressing needs, city officials say. The City Council will use the survey results to help decide how to allocate funds for human services.

“Being a new city, we are in the position to have a large impact on our long-term needs,” said Bruce Bottolfson, chairman of the city Human Services Commission. “By determining those needs early, we can make recommendations to City Council that will enhance the quality of life in Dana Point.”

The survey will be overseen by the Human Services Commission, which recruited volunteers to make the calls. It will start at 10 a.m. March 19 and continue through March 27. Pollsters will call Dana Point households between 7 and 9 p.m. during weekdays and during the day on weekends.
