SANTA ANA : City Appoints Four to Industry Council
The City Council has named Carmen Barbee and Colleen Buffington-O’Hara to the Santa Ana Private Industry Council.
The council approved the appointments unanimously last week.
The appointees will serve as private-sector representatives to the industry council, a 21-member panel that works with the City Council to help provide job training and business development, said City Clerk Janice C. Guy.
The City Council also appointed Carol Weirbeky of the California Department of Rehabilitation and Bob Fisher of the California Employment Development Department as representatives to the industry council from their departments.
The appointments are for four-year terms, Guy said.
