Countywide : Paramedics Will Be in ‘Olympics’
Paramedics from across Orange County will converge on Santa Ana on Sunday to compete in the Emergency Medical Technician ‘olympics.’
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Century High School and includes skill competitions and equipment demonstrations, said Rick Graves, spokesman for Medical Safety Management Inc., which is helping coordinate the event.
There will also be tours of rescue vehicles and ambulances. Informational booths will include those sponsored by the Santa Ana Police Department, Orange County chapter of the Red Cross, UCI Medical Center and other health-related organizations.
The school is at 1401 S. Grand Ave and the event is free and open to the public.
