SIMI VALLEY : Neighborhood Councils Have Board Openings
Executive board members are needed for all four Simi Valley neighborhood councils, the city has announced.
The councils, which serve four geographic regions of the city, meet once a month to talk about safety, planning, development and other issues that concern their neighborhoods.
Board members, appointed by the City Council for two-year terms, must be at least 18 years old and live in Simi Valley.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 6. For more information, contact Randi Joseph, Neighborhood Council coordinator at 583-6756.
