ALHAMBRA: Officers took three suspects into custody early Friday morning for auto burglary. The Los Angeles teen-agers were arrested about 3:20 a.m. after neighbors saw them stealing stereos out of cars parked in the 400 block of North Electric Avenue and called 911, police said.

ARCADIA: A man was followed home Monday night and robbed at gunpoint as he backed his car into his garage in the 400 block of Cambridge Drive, police said. Two men, both about 18 years old, confronted the man about 7:40 p.m. as he was returning home from dinner at the food court at President’s Square. They stole about $150 in cash, police said. No injuries were reported and no arrests wer e made.

ARCADIA: Police held a press conference Thursday to ask for the public’s help in solving a fatal hit-and-run accident. On March 6, Arcadia resident Shaowu Yen, 79, was struck by a red Toyota or Nissan pickup truck with a white camper shell as he stood at Holly and Fairview avenues. Yen died later that day at Arcadia Methodist Hospital. Police have asked anyone with information about the accident to call 574-5150. The Yen family and the Arcadia Chinese Assn. are together offering a $10,000 reward for the capture of the driver.

AZUSA: A 23-year-old Los Angeles man was robbed at gunpoint Saturday as he got off a bus at Mauna Loa and Citrus avenues, police said. Two suspects described by police as gang members pulled up to the man in a gray pickup and stole his wallet after they pointed a handgun at him. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.

EL MONTE: A man who apparently swallowed a quantity of cocaine to hide the drug from officers as he was being arrested died early Friday at Greater El Monte Community Hospital. The 27-year-old San Gabriel man, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, died at the hospital at 3 a.m., police said. He was arrested during a drug investigation at 10177 Valley Blvd.

POMONA: A man who was shot and stabbed early Sunday morning died of his injuries early Tuesday, police said. David Fraire, 24, of West Covina apparently got into a gang-related fight with Edward Dominguez, 19, of San Gabriel about 1:09 a.m. at a residence on Indian Hill Boulevard. Shots were fired, and officers arrived to find Fraire with a shotgun wound to his stomach, a gunshot wound to his back and a stab wound to his chest. Dominguez had two stab wounds to his left arm. Both were rushed to the hospital, police said. Fraire died at 5 a.m. Tuesday at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. . . . A fight in the parking lot of a Pomona gas station ended in gunfire, leaving a man dead. Daniel Belmudes, 33, of Pomona, was pronounced dead on arrival at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center shortly after he was shot at 2475 S. Garey Ave. about 10:30 p.m. on March 16. No arrests have been made. Police are looking for several men who fled the gas station after the shooting.

SAN GABRIEL: A man who allegedly ran over his ex-girlfriend with his car in San Gabriel on March 15 was arrested in Las Cruces, N.M., the next day. Jian Wei Zhao, 38, of Monterey Park allegedly rammed Qiu Zhai, 38, about 10 p.m. as she was walking home.
