RTC Selling 464-Acre Tract Near Santa Clarita
The Resolution Trust Corp., the federal agency charged with disposing of assets of failed savings and loans, has put up for sale a 464-acre tract of land near Santa Clarita.
The land, at the corner of Bouquet Canyon Road and Vasquez Canyon Road, is listed at $7.15 million and is approved for residential development. It was divided into three contiguous parcels by its former owner, ABQ Federal Savings Bank in Albuquerque, N. M., but the RTC is selling the land in one piece.
The land is being marketed by CB Commercial Real Estate Group Inc. in Ventura. Offers are being taken in a sealed-bid process and are due April 15.
