From Keith Groller of the Allentown (Pa.) Morning Call:

“On a religious holiday and a night that the classic film ‘Ten Commandments’ was shown on television, it was kind of appropriate that 76er fans were chanting ‘Moses! Moses! Moses!’ Sunday night at Philadelphia’s Spectrum.

“Moses Malone, the player the fans were calling for, never played. Neither did most of the Sixers, although they did get on the court.”

The Boston Celtics routed Philadelphia, 135-112.
