Share

A daylong celebration featuring music, food and dancing is planned for Saturday, when the city’s new senior center and adult day care facility opens its doors on the shores of a lake in Woodbridge village.

Television star Art Linkletter will be host at the event, which will include a raffle, a health fair and folk-dancing demonstrations.

The $7-million, 3,593-square-foot Lakeview Senior Center is located off Alton Parkway at 20 Lake Road. The drop-in center was built with a combination of private donations and city funds.
