Share

Artworks, artists, music, drama and dancing will be showcased downtown April 29 at the city’s 30th annual “A Night in Fullerton” celebration.

The event is a free cultural arts festival that honors the arts and attracts thousands. This year’s program is in memory of Florence Arnold, an internationally known abstract artist who started the tradition in 1964 and died last month. She was a longtime Fullerton educator and arts advocate.

The shows and exhibits will be presented from 7 to 11 p.m. at the following sites:

* Village Art Center, 529 N. Harbor Blvd., where artists Jiang Qi, Cindi Holt and Anthony J. Trasport will display their works.
