OC HIGH: STUDENT NEWS & VIEWS : Hopping Out

Share

The Easter bunny had some helpers this year from Garden Grove High School.

As part of Project Peter Cottontail, the students donated new toys and stuffed animals for Child or Parental Emergency Services, a nonprofit organization serving children 5 and under who are victims, or potential victims, of domestic abuse. COPES operates four shelters in Orange County--two in Santa Ana, one in Orange and one in Tustin.

The Garden Grove students treated children from the shelters to a party with an Easter egg hunt, face painting, a skit and an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
