There will be exhibits of interest to small-business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs and consumers at the sixth annual Black Business Expo next Saturday and Sunday at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

More than 350 vendors, including financial institutions, health care providers, home improvement experts, artists and others, will exhibit their products and services.

Visitors can also get tips on everything from how to avoid injury on the job to how to buy a home at some of the 50 seminars and workshops throughout the weekend.

Musical entertainment will also be provided, with rhythm and blues and jazz groups performing.

The expo was established to support the development and marketing of black-owned businesses.

Based on last year’s attendance, organizers expect 20,000 to 30,000 people from all over Southern California to check out this year’s event, which has as its theme: “Keeping the Dream Alive in the Spirit of Unity.”
