Lehman’s Career Is No Failure
I strongly protest the characterization of Tom Lehman’s career as one that “has been marked by failure” in your April 11 article on the conclusion of the Masters tournament. All he has done is persevere through the lean years in one of the most demanding of athletic occupations, earning more than a million dollars in the last two years, including more than 10 top-10 finishes and coming in third last year and second this year in the Masters.
It took a world-class golfer performing at the highest level to beat him in this year’s tournament.
