O.C. Burglary Suspect a ‘3rd-Strike’ Candidate

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary Saturday after police said he smashed through a glass door of Blockbuster Video and grabbed some video equipment.

Authorities said Luther Adam Bell of Garden Grove also was being held on parole violations that could make him a “third-strike” candidate for more prison time if convicted. California law now mandates lengthy prison terms for people convicted of three felonies.

An Anaheim police task force had been watching the store at 10524 Valley View Street because of a series of Blockbuster break-ins.
