BASEBALL DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE MAJORS : Oliver Gets Cast to Reduce Swelling

Cincinnati Red catcher Joe Oliver had his left ankle put in a cast to try to reduce the swelling. A test found no fracture or torn ligaments in the ankle, which swelled up last week, returned to normal and then swelled up again Monday. The Reds put him on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.
