Youth, 15, Talking to Friends Dies in Early Morning Drive-By Shooting
A 15-year-old boy was shot to death Saturday morning on the Eastside during what sheriff’s deputies said was a gang-related drive-by killing.
Miguel A. Perez was talking to friends in the driveway of an apartment building in the 4700 block of East 3rd Street at 12:45 a.m. when a shot was fired from a car, Deputy Patrick Hauser said.
Perez was pronounced dead at Santa Marta Hospital. There are no suspects, Hauser said.
