LOS ANGELES : Take Your Daughter to Work on Metrolink--Free
If you are planning to take your daughter to work today for “Take Our Daughters to Work Day,” the Metrolink rail system will get them there for free.
Metrolink will allow one child 18 years or younger to ride the train free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult.
“Kids need to understand that driving to work alone is not an example we should perpetuate,” said Metrolink Chairman Larry Walker.
“By taking the train to work and working alongside adult role models, children will have a rare opportunity to gain insights into their ability to contribute to the economy and society,” Walker said.
