Mineral King Bancorp to Be Acquired: ValliCorp, the largest bank-holding company in the central San Joaquin Valley, said it plans to acquire Visalia-based Mineral King Bancorp for nearly $34 million. The merger would bring ValliCorp assets into the $1-billion range. Under the agreement announced Thursday, Fresno-based ValliCorp would acquire Mineral King’s outstanding shares in a stock exchange. The transaction, expected to be completed this year, is subject to the approval of shareholders and regulatory agencies.
