3 Motorcyclists Killed in Head-On Crash

OLEMA, Calif. — A driver trying to avoid a head-on crash with a motorcycle approaching in the wrong lane swerved his station wagon into the opposite lane Sunday and killed three other motorcycle riders, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash near this town 27 miles north of San Francisco closed Highway 1 for 3 1/2 hours.
