LA HABRA : Children Invited to Free Circus Preview

Children are being invited today to a free preview of Circus Vargas at the Children’s Museum at La Habra.
Circus performers will present daring stunts and comedic acts at 11 a.m. as a pre-show for the circus, which comes to town next week.
The preview gives children who would otherwise not be able to afford to go to the circus a chance to see the show, museum officials said.
Highlights of the show will include Miss Andrea, the hula-hooper, a dog act and comedy skits by circus clowns.
The museum is at 301 S. Euclid St. in La Habra. The circus will be in La Habra Monday through May 29 at the old Bullock’s parking lot on Imperial Highway, east of Beach Boulevard.
All children under 11 who come to today’s show in the museum will receive free tickets to the circus, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, officials said.
